Early next year, Bandai Namco will release an expansion to Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 titled Road to Boruto. The games have maintained popularity and high sales, but nevertheless Bandai Namco says the series will be coming to an end soon.
Since that time, the two companies have released a steady stream of new titles and spin-offs in the Ultimate Ninja series, most recently Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
In 2003, Bandai Namco teamed up with CyberConnect 2 to release Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, a fighting game utilizing the setting and characters of the popular Naruto manga and anime franchise.
